As a child,F(xiàn)an Yang was crazy about the beauty of bubbles(氣泡).A waterfall at a river near his childhood home in Vietnam created hundreds of tiny bubbles. "I saw another world in bubbles, and I imagined how nice it would be if I could create a big bubble and be inside it," he says.
Many years later,F(xiàn)an realized that dream. He has formed bubbles around hundreds of people, made large bubbles that his daughter can walk through, and even made square bubbles.Fan calls himself a "bubble artist" and "bubble scientist". "So far,I haven't met any other bubble scientist!" he says.
To achieve what he wanted,F(xiàn)an worked hard for years. "After many years of failure,I finally came out with a bubble solution that made big bubbles with beautiful colours." Five years later, after lots of more practice and experiments,he created the world's largest bubble which was 156 feet long.
Fan designed a program called the Gazillion Bubble Show.He has many performance tips to offer. He says it's good to make the audience feel nervous so that they are surprised at the end of a trick. He also suggests doing performances that are fun to watch,so that the audience will stay interested the whole time.
To perform his tricks,F(xiàn)an uses bubbles equipment that he created himself. He wants to know that they're not limited by anything except their imaginations, and they can create whatever they want to help them follow their interests.
"To make art,you need time, love and hard work, which guided my life and made me successful.I am proud to say that I used something simple-bubbles-and brought it to a completely new world."

2.I remember my math teacher Mr.Young very well.He stood out because the kids made fun of him.He was missing one of his fingers, and always pointed at students with his middle finger.
I was not very good at English and math.No matter how hard I tried,I just could not figure out why I did not understand what all the other kids found so easy to learn.
One day,I was told that if I got one more E on my report card,I would be taken to the "big prison for kids".
I tried really hard for weeks.I just couldn't understand how to make different parts of members into whole things.
The day before report cards were to come out,I knew that Mr.Young would give me an E,just like he always did.
I went to Mr.Young and told him that the orphanage (孤兒院) was going to send me to the big prison if I got another E on my report card.He told me there was nothing he could do;it would be unfair to the other kids if he gave me a better grade than I had actually earned.
I smiled at him and said, "Mr.Young,do you know how the kids make fun of you because you're missing your finger?" He looked at me,moved his mouth to one side and said nothing.
"They shouldn't do that to you because you can't help not having a finger,Mr.Young.Just like I can't help not being able to learn numbers and stuff like that." I said.
The next day, when I got my report card,I tucked it into one of my books. While on the school bus,I opened it:Geography,B+;Mechanical Drawing,C-;English,D-;History,C-;Gym,B+;Art,C;Math,D-.
