19．I'm a hurdler（跨欄運動員）.Last year，I won a gold medal.However，I might not have won it without a girl's help.
I was in a city in a foreign country where I participated in a very important competition.I usually took a bus to the venue where the races were held.
One day，I was supposed to take part in my final men's l10-meter race.I set off to go to the venue about an hour before the race.I got on the bus that would take me to the venue.I looked around the bus and saw nobody I knew.Soon I began to feel bored.Therefore，I decided to listen to some music.I put on my earphones and the loud music began.
I listened and listened and when I looked out of the window，I became worried.I was not familiar with the surroundings. "No，I have missed my bus stop， "I said to myself.I immediately went to the bus driver and asked him to stop the bus，but it took him about 5 minutes to understand what I was saying.
Luckily，the bus stopped at the next bus stop.I immediately got off the bus.Looking at the totally new surroundings，I was very anxious.I wanted to take a bus that would take me to the venue，but I didn't know when it would come.I knew I had to take a taxi，but I had no money for the taxi fare.I feared I'd be late for the race，not to mention having time for a warm-up.
Just then a local girl walked to me.She looked very nice.She stopped before me and asked me in English if I needed any help.I told her that my race was going to take place soon.It turned out that she was a volunteer.She told me not to worry.Then she stopped a taxi for me.She told the driver where I was going，and she also paid for the ride for me.
