And Cumberbatch's friends also have rules to follow if they are to celebrate properly.The website further explains： "Once the engagement is made public，friends should send a letter or card of congratulations.The letter should be either to the bride-to-be or her fiance（未婚夫） but never both.Well-wishers should write to the person they were friends with first or are related to."
So if you're still a fan of Cumberbatch despite him breaking your heart，perhaps you should dry your tears and send him a letter of congratulations.It would probably make a man of such British traditions happy.
